What is a Row Quilt Sew-Along?
A row quilt sew-along is a quilting journey where participants create one row at a time, following along with a set schedule. Each row features a unique design element that ties into a cohesive holiday theme, making the process both exciting and manageable.

What You’ll Need
To get started, gather the following materials:
- Christmas Row Quilt Pattern - The pattern is required to follow along for each row. Fabric requirements are listed on the back of the pattern.
- Fabric – Choose festive holiday prints, solids, or a mix of both to match your aesthetic. You can use your own fabrics or a quilt kit is available using the Up On The Housetop fabric collection.
- Speciality Ruler - While not required, the Creative Grids Half Square 4-in-1 Triangle Ruler is highly recommended.
- Basic Quilting Supplies – Rotary cutter, cutting mat, rulers, sewing machine, thread, and pins.
- Batting & Backing Fabric – To complete your quilt after all the rows are assembled.

- October - Month 9: Quilt & Finish

Tips for a Successful Sew-Along
- Prep Your Fabric – Press your fabrics to ensure smooth sewing.
- Stay Organized – Keep your fabric pieces labeled and store them in a dedicated organizer.
- Engage with the Community – Share your progress on social media or in a quilting group to connect with others participating. The Christmas Row Quilt Pattern is required to participate as no cutting/sizing information will be given. Christmas Row Quilt Kits are available. Quilt Kits include the Christmas Row Quilt Pattern and fabrics from Up On The Housetop fabric collection used in the pattern.
