| Welcome Back!! My favorite part....this week we are piecing blocks for the Plot Twist Quilt Pattern. |

| Follow Andy's sewing instructions in your Plot Twist Quilt Pattern under Block Construction. The instructions are well written and are very clear to follow. |

| I gave a sneak peek tip last week about marking an extra sewing line on your corner background squares. |
 |
| If you add an extra sewing line on the back of your background squares, you can create a pile of Half-Square Triangles while you create your Plot Twist Quilt blocks. |
 |
| I have mine stacked up for a later project. Since I don't yet know what that project might be, I have elected to not press them open or square them up yet. |

| Let's talk about large print fabrics for the Plot Twist Quilt Pattern. |
| When placing your background squares on your print fabrics, take a moment to audition them. This is a great time to rotate your print fabrics if your background squares are covering up part of your image you want to showcase. In my example above, the difference is subtle. With different prints, it might be more dramatic. Just something to keep in mind. |

| Give your blocks a good pressing to prepare for Row Assembly next week. |
