Diagonal Joy Quilt Sew-Along: CORNER UNITS

| Welcome back! Ah, we are starting to get a rhythm going now. Check below for tips and tricks. (The Just Two Charm Pack Quilt is required to participate. The book is available HERE.) |
| Follow the "Corner Units" piecing instructions in your Just Two Charm Pack Quilts book for the Diagonal Joy Quilt. You will be using your Charm Squares and Background fabric for this step. |

| Tip #1: Don't fret those pinked edges! Pinked edges are your friend as they prevent the fabric from unraveling. In the example above, I know my background fabric (the top fabric) was cut to the specific required size per the pattern. My charm square (bottom fabric) was cut from a Layer Cake and may not be as exact. I used the edge of my background fabric as my source-of-truth edge for sewing and checking my seam allowance. |

| Tip #2: Chain Piecing! Get your squares organized at your sewing station so you can chain piece. It's rhythmic, fast, and fun! Then off to give them a good pressing before moving on to the next step. |

| Tip #3: Follow the instructions in the book and watch your fabric orientation. Sew too many going the wrong way and you will have a date with "Jack" the seam ripper. |
