Have You Seen My Dad? |
If you are following along with us, on my Dad's journey to travel US Highway 20, from coast-to-coast, you can find the posts HERE. |
Poor dad is running into a lot of weather. And it sounds like he has started talking to himself (and his truck). Oh Dad!!! |

Western Wyoming was awesome, and Eastern Wyoming didn’t disappoint me either. The hot spring at Thermopolis, the Ayers natural arch outside Glenrock (Glenrock was closed because it was Sunday - I mean the entire town, grocery, gas stations, etc), the Railroad Museum and P.O.W. camp museum in Douglas, Hells Half Acre, and the town of Lost Springs (pop: 4 - they had twins!). All that, and I still managed to make it to Nebraska. It has either rained or high winded every night forcing me to sleep inside BOB (I named my Ford Explorer). Roomy and comfortable with a thick air mattress, but I was anxious to try out the tent on the roof. Last night (Sunday) the weather was clear and I put up the tent in Crawford NE at the Fort Robinson State Park. It rained. Hard. I am writing this Monday AM at the coin laundry trying to dry everything out. Breakfast at McDonalds, then off across Nebraska. -Dad PS. BOB is an acronym for....Boston or Bust, Bozo on Board, Bored or Brainless, Board over Bed, or maybe just BOB. |
