Blue Smoke Quilt Pattern - PDF DOWNLOAD

Bold and dramatic Wilmington Batiks  in blues and grays are featured in the Blue Smoke Quilt.  

A stunning queen quilt with a generous 95" x 105 1/2" layout, the unique quilt center features four 12 1/2" custom blocks, pieced setting triangles, and pieced borders inserted top and bottom to make a rectangular quilt.  The outer pieced border has 9 different 6" nine-patch blocks set into 8 1/2" diamond-in-a-square blocks.  Overall, there is no difficult piecing, it just requires accurately piecing the inserted pieced borders (fitting on-point and straight piecing together).  The result is a fabulous and richly-colored heirloom quilt!


NOTE:  Most of the Blue Smoke Batiks  have sold out along with our quilts kits.  We have confirmed with Wilmington Prints, the batiks are no longer available for re-order.  The fabrics could easily be replaced with other batiks or printed fabrics.
