Schmetz Topstitch Chrome Professional Grade Needle

Topstitch needle can be used with a wide range of fabrics.  The long eye makes it particularly suited for patchwork/quilting.  Achieve perfectly straight stitch lines and even stitches.  Resists heat and wear.  Stays cooler longer with less stitch distortion.  Allows the thread to pass through the needle eye with less friction and less heat build-up.  Allows the needle to pass through the fabric with less resistance.


Choose your needle based on the thread size:
-Very fine needles #70/10 for very fine threads such as 60 wt, 100 wt, or monofilament
-Fine needles #80/12 for 50 wt fine threads
-Medium needles #90/14 for 40 wt medium threads
-Large needles #100/16 for 30 wt and heavier threads
