Dear Friends and Fellow Quilters,

After many wonderful years of stitching, creating, and sharing the joy of fabric and quilting with our incredible community, I have made the bittersweet decision to retire and begin a new chapter in my life.

After much reflection (and more than a few tears), I can assure you this decision was not made lightly. For 15 wonderful years, my online shop has been so much more than just a business — it has been a community. Both staff and customers have become part of an extended quilting family, and I will forever treasure the memories we’ve created together. From the first bolt of fabric to the final stitch, you’ve turned this journey into something truly special. Your encouragement, kindness, and loyalty have meant the world to me.

Though the retail portion of Bear Creek will close, my new chapter is still in the quilting industry. I look forward to bringing you exciting new announcements as my transition unfolds.

New Changes Effective Immediately:

• The online store will remain available until closing; estimated December 2025.
• All orders must be placed through the online store.
• The local retail lobby is closed for in-store shopping.
• The lobby is only open for order pickups and Long Arm Machine Quilting Service.
• Gift Certificates should be used by the end of the year.
• Block-of-the-Months will continue as scheduled.
• 5 Yard Club will continue as scheduled thru January 2026.
• Batik Lovers Club and Moda Bella Solids Club are cancelled after the October shipment, due to low enrollment.
• Sew-Alongs and Mystery Quilts will continue as scheduled with new programs coming!
• Long Arm Machine Quilting Service will continue until further notice.
• Special retirement sales and discounts will be announced through our newsletter.
• Fixtures, displays, and other large items will be listed for sale prior to the final closing date.
