Buttercup Blooms by Gerri Robinson for Riley Blake Designs
Most of my collections aren't typically inspired by any particular thing or event, but rather a feeling and mood I have after I've compiled the antique prints into a cohesive collection. Staying true to my love of florals in blues and grays, I wanted to expand (just a bit) by introducing colors that I normally don't inject into my collections, like gold and sage.
Buttercup Blooms comes from that part of me where traditional prints meet a current and on-trend color palette for a beautiful array of florals, paisleys, ditsy prints and a mottled dot. With a palette of twenty-five prints, there was no shortage of inspiration in creating the nineteen quilts and two quilt inspired projects that I'm confident you'll enjoy. Several are pre-cut friendly, adding that extra specialness to the quilt's design! You have plenty of time to whip up a quilt or two just in time to display them when the first blooms of Spring pop their heads through the earth!
